#3 Derek Adams- Plymouth Argyle
Plymouth have had a roller-coaster ride under manager, Derek Adams. Adams took the club up to League One in 2016/17, finishing second in League Two and only missing out on the title on goal difference.
His first season in League One started incredibly rocky with the club spending the first half of the season threatened by relegation.
The second half of the season turned out to be more much fruitful for the Devon-based club, however, with Argyle finishing the season in 7th place, just 3 points outside the playoffs.
Argyle have, unfortunately, failed to capitalize on that momentum, and find themselves bottom of League 1 with no wins in their opening 11 games.
While there is the possibility that they will repeat last season's second-half comeback, fans are growing increasingly impatient with Adams, and with Ian Holloway being touted as a potential replacement by Argyle fans, Adams could soon find himself down the job center.
