It was a strange round of fixtures in Gameweek 24 of the Premier League. The big teams dropped points like they were going out of fashion and the smaller teams showed up big time.
Gameweek 25 does not look likely to deliver the same kinds of upsets as the Big 6 will be desperate to get back to winning ways this weekend.
Review of Gameweek 24
The previous round of games had started with a huge bang. Newcastle United had stunned defending champions, Manchester City with a 2-1 win at St James' Park. This was in spite of Pep Guardiola's men scoring in the first minute via Sergio Aguero and missing a hatful of chances.
In-form Manchester United had to score twice in injury time to deny Burnley a famous win at Old Trafford. The Clarets had led 2-0 before the Red Devils equalized through a Paul Pogba penalty and a Victor Lindelof strike.
League leaders, Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by a very fiery Leicester City side while Tottenham Hotspur needed another late goal to see off Watford by 2-1.
Southampton had rescued a 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace while Bournemouth shocked everyone with a 4-0 thumping of Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea. Similarly, Wolves battered West Ham by 3-0 as Fulham beat Brighton & Hove Albion 4-2.
Arsenal beat Cardiff City by 2-1 while Everton secured a much needed 1-0 win away at Huddersfield Town.
