It seems cracks are beginning to develop in the armour of Liverpool F.C. The Reds have dropped points in the last two matches, against Leicester City and West Ham. Jurgen Klopp's men were lucky to even get draws in these games as they were outplayed by both opponents.
Manchester City's 2-0 win over Everton in midweek has sent the Cityzens atop the league table albeit having played a game more. With Pep Guardiola's men hosting Chelsea in Gameweek 26's star game, it could all change again.
Review of Gameweek 25
It was an amazing round of games in the last matchday. Tottenham Hotspur kickstarted it with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Newcastle United courtesy of a late Heung-Min Son strike.
Everton was well beaten 1-3 at Goodison Park by Wolves while Chelsea thanks to braces from Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain thrashed Huddersfield Town 5-0.
Brighton played a dull 0-0 draw with Watford while Burnley also drew 1-1 with Southampton at Turf Moor. Crystal Palace beat Fulham 2-0 and Cardiff City beat Bournemouth by the same scoreline.
Similarly, Manchester United got the better of Leicester City 1-0 thanks to a Marcus Rashford strike as a Sergio Aguero hat-trick propelled Manchester City to a 3-1 win over Arsenal.
On Monday, the Hammers and the Reds played out a 1-1 draw.
