Watford beat Everton led by former Hornets manager, Marco Silva while Arsenal triumphed 2-1 away at Huddersfield Town.
Similarly, Cardiff City beat Southampton 2-1 at St Mary’s as Crystal Palace played out a 1-1 draw with West Ham. Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 3-0 at Anfield while Burnley beat Brighton 3-1 at the Amex Arena.
Tottenham Hotspur beat a tough Leicester City side 3-1 with Heung Min-Son continuing his scoring streak. The weekend’s star game turned out to be a one-sided affair as Manchester City eviscerated Chelsea 6-0 with Sergio Aguero grabbing another hattrick.
On Monday, Wolves needed a last-gasp Willy Boly goal to draw 1-1 with Newcastle United.
