Intrigue, goals, and action aplenty are expected in Gameweek 22 of the Premier League. The gap between the top 6 teams and the rest of the league is expected to widen further.

After 21 rounds, the table at either end has a familiar feel to it. Liverpool are top dogs, 4 points ahead of Manchester City. Tottenham Hotspur has continued to put the pressure on in third place. Similarly, it looks to be a straight three-way fight for the last UEFA Champions League spot between Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Everton kicked off the New Year with a 1-0 loss at home to Leicester City as Arsenal thrashed Fulham 4-1. Tottenham Hotspurs beat Cardiff City 3-0 as Wolves lost to Crystal Palace at Molineux by 2-0.

Southampton surprisingly held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw as West Ham and Brighton played out a 2-2 draw. Huddersfield Town lost at home to Burnley by 2-1 while Manchester United beat Newcastle United 2-0.

Bournemouth played out an exhilarating 3-3 draw with Watford while in the star game of the round, Manchester City beat Liverpool by 2-1.

This round of games is expected to just as intense as any that has gone before it. A London derby will kick –off hostilities as West Ham welcomes Arsenal to the London Stadium.

Leicester City will play Southampton at the KingPower Stadium while Crystal Palace will trade tackles with Watford. A low-scoring affair is expected as Cardiff City take on Huddersfield Town.
