Educador’s World Cup star Enner Valencia has been linked with Newcastle United, Tottenham and Everton and impressing in Brazil over the last couple of weeks, according to the Daily Express.
The Pachuca striker has scored three goals in two matches in the group stages so far and faces France this evening to try and get through to the knockout stages of the World Cup.
He has surprised many his performances and has attracted the interest of top four battlers Spurs and Everton as well as Newcastle, who suffered a miserable mid-table finish in the Premier League last season.
Valencia joined Mexican club Pachuca in January and has scored 18 goals in 23 matches since and the club’s vice-president has admitted that they will find it tough to keep a tight hold of him after his recent performances and quality in front of goal.
Many people assume Ecuador’s best player in Manchester United’s Antonio Valencia but it is a different Valencia who has caught the headlines and attraction of European clubs due to his performances.
Pachuca’s Andres Vassi said: ”Enner Valencia’s value increases every day. We don’t know if he will stay, it will be hard given the offers we have received,” he told Mexican ESPN.
“The options that a great player at this level gets are to be taken into account. But for now he has to keep doing things right.
“No doubt it would hurt us to let Enner Valencia go, but we are realistic about his quality.”
Despite scoring three goals, Valencia has not created a single chance yet.
