#4 Fabian Delph
Fabian Delph joined Manchester City way back in 2015, and to be honest a lot of people were surprised Manchester City signed him from Aston Villa. With the way City have been spending money and the kind of players they usually buy, Delph was a quite unusual signing.
Since joining he has not been able to find a permanent role in the team despite his versatility. The former Aston Villa man's appearances at Manchester City has been varying with each passing season. In his first season, he managed a total of 27 appearances and followed that up with just 12 the next season.
His most fruitful season came in the 2017/18 season when he made a total of 29 appearances and also won the Premier League. This season, while he has been fluctuating in and out of the first team, he knows, in the long run, he will have to settle for a place on the bench.
Delph has made 19 appearances so far this season with most of them being at left back, but with Benjamin Mendy obviously being first choice and the rise of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Delph will certainly lose his place in the team next year. At 29, he still has a lot to offer any team and with all the experience he has gained under Guardiola, any Premier League team will be glad to have him.
