Yaya Toure has again been in the news for all the wrong reasons thanks again to his agent, Dimitri Seluk. Toure has yet to play a Premier League game for Manchester City under new coach, Pep Guardiola.
The duo have a long history of not getting along since their time together at Barcelona and the City manager was talking about the Ivorian today in his press conference ahead of the EFL Cup clash against Swansea City.

Toure's agent has responded to Guardiola's remarks about his client in what is brewing to be a long drawn battle between the two parties. Guardiola had said, "Toure must apologise to his teammates. He must apologise to the club. If he doesn't, he won't play."
The Spaniard has had a great start to life in Manchester winning eight out eight games in his tenure and in a bizarre reply to Guardiola's statement, Toure's agent replied, "Guardiola wins a few games and thinks he is king. I live in Europe so I can say whatever I like and Guardiola can't stop me. What do I need to apologise for?”
“Ok, I will apologise to Guardiola if he will apologise to Manuel Pellegrini for what he did to him. If you are a gentleman, this just does not happen. He signed a new contract last year and then he gets pushed out for Guardiola to come in. Pellegrini was a gentleman."
Guardiola further spoke about the four-time African Player of the Year winners exclusion from City’s Champions League squad saying, "It was so difficult for me to put him out of the Champions League, so difficult. I know him, I know he's a good, good guy, but the list is the list. " Toure was recently left out of Champions League squad for the upcoming season.

On a way back into the first team squad, the manager suggested that Toure should show remorse saying, "Go to the media and apologise to Manchester City, the first one, the second one his teammates and, after, the trainer.”
“When that happens Yaya will be part of the group and he will have the same chance to play all the games."
In further news, for their upcoming clash with Swansea, City are expected to see the return of captain Vincent Kompany.
