Former Manchester United assistant manager and club legend, Ryan Giggs, criticised the Manchester United team soon after the 4-0 thrashing at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea as they were seen laughing and swapping jerseys with their opponents after the humiliating defeat.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David de Gea, Juan Mata and a host of other United players were on the field laughing with their international teammates, right after the final whistle.

Giggs was unimpressed with their actions and in the post-match analysis said,“You can get beat in a football match, but then when you’re getting beat and you’re swapping shirts – which is something I don’t like, call me old fashioned.”
The Spanish contingent of the two sides were caught sharing jokes and the Frenchman Martial was seen putting an arm around his fellow countryman N’Golo Kante, who bagged his first league goal for Chelsea in the rout against United.
Giggs went on to add, “If you get beat 4-0, you congratulate the opposition, you thank the supporters and then you get off the pitch.
“You don’t stand around on the pitch, swapping shirts and laughing, with the team that’s just beat you.”
Jose Mourinho suffered one of his heaviest defeats as a manager in the Premier League at the hands of Antonio Conte in last night’s 4-0 defeat, making it United’s third defeat of the campaign, which sees them stay in 7th place in the League, 6 points off leaders Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.
With their brilliant performance against United, Chelsea currently occupy the fourth spot and are just a point behind the leaders.
Along with Giggs, Gary Neville and Thierry Henry questioned the attitude of the United players after the heavy defeat, and said that they have to pick themselves up quickly to prepare themselves for an EFL Cup fixture against neighbours and rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Conte and Chelsea’s defensive organisation and rapid counter-attack caught United off guard and several individual defensive errors by United players also helped in Chelsea routing their Manchester rivals.
Chelsea next head to the London Stadium where they take on Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United, who are on the back of two consecutive victories in the league.
