Harry Kane
Harry Kane’s hat-trick in the first half helped Spurs bounce back from their European exit as they hosted Stoke City on Sunday night. His first goal of the night was also his 100th goal for the club and scored the second a few minutes later with a half-volley.
He scored his third via a deflected free-kick and made the assist for Dele Alli’s goal to wrap up an emphatic victory that took them second in the league.
Jamie Vardy
It was nothing short of bittersweet as Jamie Vardy slotted two goals past Liverpool so soon after Claudio Ranieri was relieved of his duties. Taking advantage of Liverpool's slow backline, the former non-league forward darted forward to finish with a low strike to give his side the lead.
His second goal came right on the hour mark after he initially bungled his attempt but capitalised on Fuch's cross from the left and scored the winner, ending his goal drought in the Premier League that stretched back to December 10.
