Into his sixth season at Fulham now, Clint Dempsey has been one of Fulham’s best players. He has been a stand out performer in the EPL this season as well, hitting the back of the net 13 times already and has created as many as 6 goals for his teammates. Dempsey, 29 now, is at the very top of his game and if he aspires to win any trophies at all as a player, this is the time to make the move. He’s hugely experienced with 83 national caps and six seasons of EPL experience under his belt which make him the ideal buy for any top club. He has proven himself time and again against the best of the best in the EPL. With his contract expiring next summer, Fulham might be looking to sell while they still can.
Possible suitors: Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle come to mind straight away.
Stéphane Sessègnon
This Benin international has been my player of the season so far. He took a while to find his feet in the EPL but he is really starting to grab some eyeballs now. Sessègnon has been absolutely fantastic for Sunderland so far this season and has almost played a part in every goal scored in the Martin O’ Neill era. He’s quick, tricky, delivers a deadly cross and can finish with aplomb. These qualities will make him one of the most sought after players this summer.
Possible suitors: Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, Tottenham.
Junior Hoilett is another player who has had an exceptional season out on the wings this year. Steve Kean barely managed to hold onto his powerful Canadian winger in the January transfer window and regardless of whether Blackburn beat the drop, Hoilett is most certainly on his way out. Hoilett was named one of the 13 Players to watch in 2012 by world football governing body FIFA. He’s quick, tricky, very strong and has a wonderful shot on him. With his current deal expiring this summer and his refusal to sign a new deal, this one is a no brainer.
Possible suitors: Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcaslte, Tottenham, Arsenal and many more!
Moussa Dembélé
Moussa Dembele is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League. Hugely gifted on the ball with two wonderful feet and a deft touch, he can play anywhere across the central midfield. Dembele’s performances may not reflect so much in the goals scored or assists column but his quick footwork and the inventiveness of his passing make him a great asset to any team. Dembele’s contract at Fulham runs out in the summer of 2013 and Martin Jol has already proved that he isn’t afraid to sell his star players for the right price. Dembele will most likely be offloaded in similar fashion.
Possible suitors: Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham.
Matt Jarvis
Wolverhampton Wanderers are almost certain to go down this season and having said that, Matt Jarvis is most likely playing his last season as a Wolves player. Matt Jarvis has arguably been Wolves’ most important player for a couple of seasons now. Quick, tricky and a delightful crosser of the ball, Jarvis is a joy for any club to have on his team. He made his England debut last year becoming the first Wolverhampton Wanderers player to play for England since Steve Bull in 1990. Jarvis has been fantastically consistent since his introduction to the EPL and a lot of the bigger clubs have taken notice. Wolves’ relegation would almost certainly see the young winger leave the Molineux.
Possible suitors: Sunderland, Stoke city, Aston Villa, Everton, Newcastle, West Bromwich Albion, Swansea, Norwich City and several others!
