6. Gustavo 'Gus' Fring – José Mourinho
Gus Fring was the widely acclaimed, admired and astounding antagonist of Breaking Bad. Fring was the head of one of the country's largest methamphetamine production and distribution operations in the United States. He was highly secretive and made a stellar defense system to conceal his identity and enlarge his drug empire.
José Mourinho is widely regarded by several players and coaches to be one of the best managers of his generation and one of the greatest ever managers. He is one of most successful managers in the history of the sport and has won numerous trophies and personal accolades throughout his glorious career.
Mourinho can be aptly labeled as the Gus Fring of the EPL.
Gus Fring showcased his tactical prowess, management skills and adaptability to different situations on almost all occasions in Breaking Bad. All of these qualities are ever-present in Mourinho and are on show at every matchday.
The Portuguese is also renowned for always being well-informed about his next opponent and tactically outwitting other managers in games. He shares this trait with Gus Fring as the latter was always well-informed about his opponents and always had very effective plans and maneuvers to outwit his rivals.
Lastly, Mourinho is somewhat seen as a manager who prefers to play somewhat ‘negative’ brand of football and just cares about results which is very much similar to Gus because he was also a villain and was ready to take any extreme measures to grow his empire.
