Eric Abidal rubbishes rumours of him suffering from cancer

Through out the day, rumours were heard that French defender, Eric Abidal is suffering from cancer yet again for the third time. But all rumours were thrown out of the window after Abidal himself tweeted saying, that all the rumours were false and he is fit and healthy. He is currently training thinking about his club’s next game. Eric Abidal is currently playing for French club AS Monaco and he is also the captain of the team.

Abidal previously had suffered from cancer twice. He had to undergo a liver surgery twice in his career while playing for Barcelona. His the then team-mate Dani Alves had also contemplated donating his liver to abidal.

Few days back in an interview, Abidal said to Marca that he still fears that the cancer may come back.

Since this morning, it was heard that the cancer might have relapsed for the third time. Eric Abidal in his Twitter account claimed that he is fine.
