Sevilla (Spain), Nov 4 (IANS) Sevilla left-back Sergio Escudero stressed competitiveness and high quality of the Sevilla football squad and said that they can dream of doing something big this season.
Escudero, who played in Sevilla's 4-0 thrashing of Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, told the club television that they have lots of talents, which makes the team lively even on bad days, reports Efe.
Sevilla are on top of their group in the Champions League and in the La Liga, they are fourth -- only behind Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid respectively.
Escudero, 27, highlighted his growth as a player since arriving in 2015 from Getafe and that this was the best year of his career, as his team managed to be champion of the Europa League and runner-up of the Copa del Rey and the Spanish and European Super Cups, adding that he cannot be happier.
He referred to a possible call from the Spanish national team, as suggested by Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli, saying that representing his country would be an honour.
