Italy football team head coach Antonio Conte has said that Spain are one of the favorites to win Euro 2016.
The Italian coach on Monday delivered his statement after his squad started its camp to get ready for the upcoming friendly against Spain, which will be played on March 24 in preparation for Euro 2016, reports Efe.
Conte predicted Spain will be tough rivals, and hoped that the two friendlies against Spain and Germany will allow Italy to know where they stand.
He added that La Roja is a skilled team and pointed out that six Spanish teams have already reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the Europa League of the current season.
When asked about leaving the Azzurri following Euro 2016, Conte said: "I've taken the choice, and now we'll see what the future holds, if there's something beautiful in Italy or abroad. These choices are never taken lightly."
As for rumours linking him to coaching Chelsea, the former Juventus tactician said: "What's certain is that I won't be (Italy's manager) for the next two years. My intention is to return to a club. After the Euro qualifiers, I was filled with satisfaction in seeing a group which was doing what I had asked."
