Italy beat Sweden 1-0 in their UEFA Euro 2016 Group E encounter to claim their second win of the tournament to remain top of their group with six points from two games. The result sees the Azzurri seal qualification to the Round of 16 in spite of not being favourites to top a group with Belgium, Sweden and the Republic of Ireland.

Eder scored the winner in the 88th minute to give Antonio Conte’s side the win after being frustrated for long periods of the game.
