Borussia Dortmund have said that their German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan will miss the Euro 2016 football championship because of a dislocated kneecap.
Gundogan's injury occurred on Tuesday during training, but Dortmund did not reveal the precise diagnosis until Friday, reports Efe.
Gundogan, a regular starter in Dortmund and Germany, had also missed the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil with a back injury.

Germany chief coach Joachim Loew lamented the injury of the player, stating that he will not play in the Euro.
