Nico Barella

Italy's midfield has been sensational at Euro 2020 thus far. The Azzurri have been able to dominate the midfield battle in every single match they've played.

Barella improved on his Round of 16 performance and produced some lovely deft touches to flit past a couple of defenders and score Italy's first goal. He then grabbed an assist for Lorenzo Insigne's strike.

Thomas Delaney (Denmark)

Thomas Delaney's all-action performance was crucial to the Danes' win over Czech Republic. The 29-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder was excellent at impeding opposition attacks and setting his own side's forays into the final third into motion.

Delaney opened the scoring for Denmark as early as the fifth minute as he latched on to a Stryger Larsen corner and headed the ball home. He was a tenacious presence in midfield throughout and worked tirelessly.

Pedri

Although his final ball was lacking, Pedri kept things ticking in midfield for Spain. He made five key passes and also made three recoveries. The Barcelona youngster worked tirelessly and was involved in every good break that Spain made.

His touch, movement and vision defied his age and it was a brilliant outing for the 18-year-old.

Harry Kane

The England striker is kicking into top form at the right time for Gareth Southgate's men. Kane had a good outing against Germany but he was at his ruthless best against Ukraine. He poked Sterling's lovely threaded pass home to open the scoring for England.

Kane then nodded home a brilliant cross from Luke Shaw to make it 3-0 in the 50th minute of the game.

Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling has been England's most consistent attacker at Euro 2020. He was excellent against Ukraine and played a vicious through-ball to release Kane into the box for England's first goal. Sterling put his dribbling skills on display and tormented the Ukraine backline all night.

Lorenzo Insigne

Insigne put Italy 2-0 ahead against Belgium with one of the goals of the tournament. After dragging the ball past Youri Tielemans, Insigne drove ahead and deposited one of his signature curlers into the top bin.

He was a treat to watch with the ball at his feet and played some lovely balls into the box and combined well with Spinazzola.
