Damsgaard struggled a bit due to Kyle Walker's pace in the early stages of the game. But once he settled down, he was Denmark's best outlet. The 21-year-old intercepted an awkward throw from Pickford to create the Danes' first real chance of the game.

He then scored an absolute peach of a free-kick from 25 yards out to give Denmark the lead. Damsgaard also came close with a curler that just beat the post. The Sampdoria winger put in a shift until he was withdrawn halfway through the second half.

Damsgaard's relentlessness and direct approach gave Denmark an edge in attack and all in all, he produced a performance that he can be proud of.

#2 Federico Chiesa (Italy)

Federico Chiesa has become a reliable presence in Italy's frontline over the course of Euro 2020. The Juventus loaneehas turned in a handful of impressive performances at the competition so far.

He was a difference maker in the semi-final against Spain and scored a sensational opening goal for Italy against the run of play.

The 23-year-old showcased great energy and nearly set up Domenico Berardi for Italy's second shortly before being substituted. Chiesa picked up the man-of-the-match award for his exploits.

He has looked threatening with the ball at his feet throughout the tournament and is almost guaranteed to start the final against England.

#1 Harry Kane (England)

England v Denmark - UEFA Euro 2020: Semi-final

It was a night that could have so easily gone the other way for England's captain Harry Kane. The Spurs striker did well to keep his head and slot home the rebound after his extra-time spot kick was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

The best thing about Harry Kane is that he has been able to kick into form right when it mattered most. He led England's attack with grit and upended the Denmark defence with a lovely threaded ball to Saka which eventually resulted in England's equalizer.

Kane was England's creator-in-chief and even came close to scoring in the dying embers of the first half. He was heavily involved throughout, dropping deep to collect the ball and urging England forward.

The 27-year-old also played two wonderful crosses for Sterling, neither of which were converted. Kane has scored four goals in the last three matches and is very much in the running for the Euro 2020 Golden Boot as well.
