#9 Chelsea
In the last ratings, Chelsea were not inside the top 10 but with three consecutive wins and with one against their city rivals, Arsenal. Chelsea started their new campaign under Maurizio Sarri in a perfect way. These results set the tone for the 2016-17 Premier League champions to bring back the glory.
Although they had plenty of possession in the game against Newcastle United, they found it extremely difficult to break the deadlock until the later parts of the game against the Magpies. It remains that there is still a work in progress under the new manager for Chelsea, but these victories will boost their morale and lift their confidence after a disappointing season last term.
#8 Liverpool
Liverpool not only had a decent transfer window, but the team also showed their strength on the pitch as well as they are the only team in the Premier League yet to concede a goal and are on top of the table after third-round matches.
Liverpool has bolstered its squad in areas where they were lacking in the last season and that is paying dividends as they not only have fierce attacking power but are also very strong in the back thanks to the signing of the wonderful goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who looks like a strong contender for the Premier League Golden Glove already.
If Liverpool could maintain this level for a prolonged period they are the team who can compete with Manchester City neck and neck, this time the battle will be more interesting.
