Bernardo Silva.
The Portuguese was recently snubbed for the final 10 man shortlist for the Best FIFA Men’s Player of the year for 2019. Bernardo Silva might have been frustrated by FIFA's move, but he stayed silent and let his feet do the talking. Against Liverpool, Silva started on the right forward role and excelled once again. The Portuguese showed quick feet to regularly venture into the box and gave Andrew Robertson nightmares on the field.

Andrew Robertson had a tough day.
Despite starting in an attacking role, Silva dropped down and often initiated attacks from the deep. His long balls were a treat for the eyes, as he switched flanks and kept the opposition on their toes. He was skillful as usual with the ball at his feet, and without the ball, he worked extremely hard to regain possession.

The Portuguese was great at tight spaces and combined well with Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne on the field. When the game went into penalties, Bernardo Silva stepped up and converted his spot kick with style, helping City lift their first Silverware of the new season.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
