Arsene Wenger has said that Lukasz Fabianski is a “major doubt” for tonight’s game against Everton. The Polish goalkeeper has been in good form recently.
Wenger revealed that Fabianski picked up a rib injury on Saturday in the match against Norwich.
“Fabianski is a major doubt, but we will decide that tomorrow [Tuesday]. He got a kick in the rib [against Norwich City],” Wenger told Arsenal‘s official website.
If Fabianski is ruled out with an injury, Wenger will have to start Wojciech Szczesny who has been woefully out-of-form and had dropped down the pecking order.
Meanwhile, midfielder Tomas Rosicky has resumed training after recovering from a hamstring injury that forced him out of the Norwich game. Per Mertesacker is also available after serving a one-match ban that he received against West Brom.
