Sunday evenings are meant to be about relaxing, but these rumours are just not going to let me sit peacefully. Today's reports are absolutely out of this world!
Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos have told their respective club whom they want to see in the squad next season while Chelsea are now ready to sell Eden Hazard to Real Madrid if they get two players in return.
Here are the top 3 dubious rumours of the day:
#1 - Leo Messi wants Ousmane Dembélé at Barcelona
I really don't think one should be surprised at this ridiculous story. The ever so unreliable Don Balon are the ones reporting this and forget a pinch of salt, take this with a whole packet of it!
While it's ok to link Dembélé to Barcelona, it's just not worth it to bring Messi in between. Every other day, Don Balon comes up with a list of players whom Ronaldo or Messi want to be signed by their club.
Ousmane Dembélé is in excellent form at Borussia Dortmund, and it's no shock that he's caught the eye of the Barcelona scouts. Bayern Munich must be devastated right now as they won't be able to battle Barcelona and sign him from their favourite shop.
#2 - Sergio Ramos wants Robert Lewandowski at Real Madrid
Real Madrid are on the hunt for a striker. Robert Lewandowski is a brilliant centre-forward, and the Bernabeu side might actually be interested in signing him.
If that was the rumour, there wouldn't be anyone doubting it. However, Diario GOL have gone to the level of saying that Sergio Ramos has asked the board to sign the Bayern Munich star. They have gone on to state that he has demanded that Zidane signs him in the summer.
Things don't end there. The report further suggested that Ramos is "frustrated with Benzema" and has asked Perez to sell him off in the summer or else the club captain will force himself out. Like, seriously? Why would one report such a blunt rumour?
#3 - Chelsea want 2 Real Madrid stars for Eden Hazard
And we are back with Don Balon. The Spanish publication has run a story they reported last month again.
In April, they mentioned that Manchester United demanded Alvaro Morata and Raphael Varane in exchange for David De Gea. When you run out of ideas, you just have to redo the old rumours again I guess.
They sold the United story well last month, but when things got crazy, people started to understand that the site just makes up stuff to increase their numbers. Sadly for Don Balon, their credibility is gone and soon their English copy-cats, Express, will be facing the same thing.
