The seasons almost over and the clubs are busy making plans for the summer. While some clubs are trying to lure the best players in the world, some are plotting bargain moves.
The transfers rumours are spreading like wildfire, and the media outlets are the ones responsible for this. Some have legit sources while some just make up stuff to get people's attention.
Having gone through all the rumours of the day, here are the top 3:
#1 - Real Madrid want Griezmann to replace Gareth Bale
Diario GOL have reported today that Real Madrid are not sure about Gareth Bale's future at the club and are plotting a move for Griezmann. The Atletico Madrid star has a release clause of £85 million the reports suggests that Los Blancos are ready to activate it.
Though the source is not so reliable, the reports of Madrid's interest in the striker are correct. However, to suggest that the club is having doubts over Bale's future is just absurd.
The Welshman was signed for €100 million, and Perez would not let go of his so quickly. He is 27 years old and can still play at the top level for another 3-4 season easily.
#2 - Mourinho prefers Willian over Gareth Bale
Another story that involves Gareth Bale but this is a more reliable source, The Independent. The English publication claim that Mourinho wants to sign Willian from Chelsea and not Gareth Bale from Real Madrid because of the Welshman's injuries.
The injuries are a legit concern for the Manchester United manager as he wouldn't want a player who spends more time in the hospital than the pitch. Jose has worked with Willian before and knows the player very well. Red Devils need a player of his quality right now, and there is no doubt that the former Chelsea manager would want him.
#3 - Marco Asensio wants to join Liverpool or Arsenal
The thing about Diario GOL is that they report one legit rumour and one ridiculous rumour every single day! Their report of Griezmann being a target for Real Madrid was an understandable one. But then just ruined their reputation with the news of Asensio wanting to leave Madrid for Liverpool or Arsenal is just ridiculous.
The midfielder is one of Zidane's favourite and is tipped to replace Luka Modric in the starting XI next season. However, Diario GOL reports that the Spaniard is not happy with the manager.
Even if the midfielder is unhappy why would he want to join Liverpool or Arsenal? Liverpool to an extent are fine as they will be losing their best player, Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona. However, Arsenal are a sinking ship which has their captain (implied as manager, Arsene Wenger) and their best players (Sanchez and Ozil) leaving the club soon!
