A cursory glance at the picture might make you disregard it as yet another one of the millions of portraits of former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson that his fans draw in an attempt to express their admiration of the Scot.
A closer look, however, would make you realise that this picture drawn by Annemarie Wright of the United Kingdom is something truly special. How? It is because the picture contains the name of every single player who played under Sir Alex during his 27-year reign as the manager of Manchester United.
The hand-written portrait, titled ‘Fergie’, contains the names of each and every Manchester United player to have appeared for the club between November 1986 and May 2013.
On being asked about the artwork, Ms Wright told Metro: ‘I was inspired to do this because my dad is a huge Manchester United fan, so I have been brought up with the Red Devils.
‘The piece took three weeks to complete and is all in my own handwriting.’
It is something that could just make Sir Alex go “Bloody Hell!” once again!
Here are a few close-up pictures of the portrait.
