Scottish club Dunfermline Athletic have finally been bought by supporters group Pars United, ending a 202-day wait for a buyer, The Daily Record reports.
The fans were granted ownership of the club by BDO administrator Bryan Jackson. The fans buy-out saved the club from lapsing.
According to reports, the club could have folded in the morning after the cash flow was cut short. In spite of that, Pars United managed to succeed in their bail-out of the club.
Stirling Albion and East Stirlingshire are other clubs that are completely owned by the clubs supporters.
