#8 Glenn Murray (Brighton & Hove Albion) - £6.5
In recent years, Glenn Murray has been used a mere backup option, despite the fact his games-to-goal ratio was so great. Many put this down to the fact he's getting on a bit now (35-years-old), but he still scores frequently. It took his move to Brighton in January 2017 to get him the spotlight he deserved, and now he plays virtually every game for the Seagulls.
Murray is a constant threat to opposition defences thanks to his superb positional awareness and his aerial ability. Corners and freekicks are much more potent for Brighton now that they're able to whip the ball towards the 6'1 forward, as he'll win most of his aerial duels with defenders and score.
£6.5 is a bargain price for a player of Murray's ability. He's already closing in on 40 points for this season, and finds himself amongst a star-studded leaderboard of FPL strikers.
