Lewis Dunk (LEI)
Lewis Dunk is suspended for Leicester’s visit in gameweek 13 and after that, the Seagulls play Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolves and Palace in their next four fixtures, a daunting run. Clean sheet prospects look bleak for Brighton during this spell and with other cheaper defensive options like Janmaat, Rico etc surfacing, it might be a good time to ditch the Seagulls’ centre-back.
Brighton’s underlying statistics indicate they have been lucky to keep four clean sheets so far. They have allowed opponents 27 ‘big chances’ with only six teams allowing more.
Andriy Yarmolenko (TOT)
After a strong start to the season, the Hammers find themselves in 16th with just one point from their last five matches. Things are unlikely to get better for them anytime soon given their next four opponents – Tottenham, Chelsea, Wolves and Arsenal.
Spurs have not been their usual selves this season but Mourinho’s appointment should make them a much more daunting prospect, at least in the short term. The games against Chelsea and Wolves are away and the Hammers have struggled on the road so far, scoring just six goals.
Yarmolenko was even benched for their last game so his starting spot is also far from certain, and given the nature of the upcoming hectic period, he looks like a liability in your FPL squad at the moment.
