Luke Shaw- Manchester United (DF) (£5m)
A goal and an assist in his first two games. Luke Shaw definitely looks to have started the season on the right note even if his team might not have done the same. The left-back looks to have finally nailed down a starting berth in his side and comes at a decent price.
Antonio Valencia is injured and his regular competition for the spot- Young is meanwhile playing on the opposite flank. This means Shaw might just hold on his position this season and has looked to be a bright spark in Man Utd's underwhelming start. He has gone on forward runs on many occasions and his point haul of 15 is without a clean sheet as of yet which is impressive for a defender.
While Man United's fledgling defense is a worry, expect them to keep clean sheets in future matches. Mourinho is known for his defensive solidity and will definitely work on plugging the goals to be his optimal priority.
