#1 Marcos Alonso
The Spaniard has been leading the points table of defenders from day 1 and still stands head and shoulders above the rest. There was the talk of him giving up on his attacking instincts under new manager Sarri, but that has since been proven wrong.
Alonso has given 4 double figure returns so far, totalling a sum of 72 points. This is better than any attacker in the game or even midfielders sans Hazard. His current price at £7 might seem steep for a defender, but if you look at his overall points return capacity, it is a bargain.
Alonso has so far bagged 6 assists, which has been done better only by Callum Wilson at 7. Also, Chelsea have a couple of decent fixtures at home playing against Crystal Palace and Everton before heading to play Spurs. Their current form means you should be expecting more points from the Spaniard this coming month.
