Tosun will look to open his account for the season

As was promised by Marco Silva upon his arrival to Merseyside, his team is banging in the goals upfront while leaking them at the back. They played a 2-2 draw against highly fancied new boys, Wolves. Richarlison got both the goals while Turkish striker Tosun could only manage an assist.

He was a bit isolated up front after Everton went down to 10 men and thus, found chances hard to come by. The next match they play is against the Saints who held Burnley to a goal less draw, courtesy of some goalkeeping heroics by Alex McCarthy. Southampton might not be so lucky this time with an attacking Everton side highly expected to breach their defense.

Tosun can be a goal machine when on song and this might his chance to get his season up and running. A favorable run of fixtures follow, and he would be looking to hit up a decent goal scoring form..
