Vardy came on late but managed to score against a tight Man United defense in the last game. He would be expected to start their next at home to Wolves and will be looking to continue his goalscoring form early in the season.

Wolves did not look sturdy in defense against Everton and managed to concede even against 10 men. It could prove to be a tough match against a Leicester team who impressed against the Red Devils and are looking for their first points of the season.

Vardy has a knack for goals in matches such as this and has been a consistent performer in the recent years for FPL managers. His current ownership of 7% might just increase substantially if he manages to score in subsequent matches
