Courtois is the cheapest and most effective way to get inside Chelsea’s defence

Chelsea’s supreme solidity at the back makes it imperative to have cover from the Blues defence. However, since most of the defenders have crossed or are priced at £6.5m, the cheapest way to get a player is to invest in the Belgian who currently is priced at £5.9m. The Blues backline has been solid under the 3-4-3 system and Courtois’ commanding demeanour has been a major reason for the same.

Chelsea play their next game against Burnley, who have had a tough time scoring from open play. The team has scored just five goals in their last five matches, two of which have come through penalties.

Next 3 fixtures: Burnley(A), Swansea(H), West Ham(A)
