Buy: Sergio Aguero
The Argentine returned to training last season and was immediately put into the starting eleven by manager Pep Guardiola. He responded to the gaffer's faith by finding the back of the net and is in line to start this weekend against West Brom.
At £11.7m, he may be one of the most expensive players in the game, but is an investment worth making. Manchester City have scored in every league match this season and have been finding the back of the net in numbers.
Thus, Aguero and co. will be backed to score against a West Brom defensive that have been looking shaky of late. Despite having to face Arsenal next week, the Argentine is an investment that should be made, and it will help reap long-term benefits.
Avoid: Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The dynamic Armenian enjoyed a blistering start to the new season and saw a sudden upturn in his value. He was soon every manager's go-to option in the 8.0 bracket, but once his assists have dried down, Mkhitaryan is like a passenger for most FPL managers.
In his price range, the likes of Leroy Sane, David Silva and Pedro are available and also have better fixtures ahead. Much like Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, Mkhitaryan's become a luxury player in the United team. Whenever the Red Devils fail to tick, the attacking midfielder tends to go missing - frustrating the FPL managers that have believed in.
Still a surprisingly high ownership of 20.6 percent, managers are still vesting their faith in the Armenia international. However, given the form he is in and fixtures such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in the near future, it is best to offload him before his value plummets.
Buy: Richarlison
The 20-year-old Brazilian has been an FPL revelation this season. While there was a lot of glitz and glam surrounding Richarlison in the summer transfer window, few expected him to have such an instant impact in the Premier League.
Due to Richarlison's three goals and four assists, the Hornets find themselves in an impressive sixth position on the table. The Brazilian has a knack for getting himself in the right places and has done an exceptional job at leading the line for them despite being a midfielder by trade.
At a paltry £6.3m, FPL managers get the unique opportunity of buying a midfielder who is indeed playing up front in the Premier League games. Thus, he has a better opportunity of finding the back of the net and providing an extra point for a goal compared to the strikers. Also, Watford have Stoke, Everton, West Brom and Newcastle in their next games - and it would be foolish to bet against Richarlison trying his chances against the mid-table clubs.
