FC Barcelona to hijack Real Madrid's move for Alvaro Odriozola
According to Don Balon, FC Barcelona are looking to hijack a move for Real Madrid's top defensive target - Real Sociedad's fullback Alvaro Odriozola. Barcelona technical secretary Eric Abidal is looking to use Sergi Roberto in midfield next season and is, therefore, looking to sign a right back.
Odriozola has a release clause of €40 million. Barcelona believe that they will be able to lure the fullback to the Camp Nou with promises of a prominent role in the first team which Real Madrid cannot offer due to the presence of Dani Carvajal.
Athletic Bilbao target Cesar Azpilicueta
El Gol Digital has claimed that Cesar Azpilicueta is longing for a return back to Spain. Athletic Bilbao have made him their no.1 summer target and have already made a €20 million move for the versatile defender. It is believed that Chelsea will sign Inter Milan's Joao Miranda as Azpilicueta's replacement.
