Rooney has completed his move to the MLS

DC United sign Wayne Rooney

England Manchester United's record goalscorer Wayne Rooney has today completed a move to DC United. He travelled to the United States yesterday and has today signed a three-year deal with the club. Rooney spent last season with his boyhood club Everton, making 36 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

FC Barcelona closing in on Frenkie De Jong

Mundo Deportivo has revealed that Frenkie De Jong's agent Ali Dursun yesterday travelled to Barcelona for a meeting with the club officials. It is widely accepted that the Catalans have made De Jong as one of their priorities with the player also keen on signing for his dream club.

FC Barcelona plan to keep De Jong at Ajax for one more season before taking him on board for the 2019/20 season. The 21-year-old is being touted as Sergio Busquets' successor at the club.
