Aouar to stay put at his boyhood club

Houssem Aouar to commit his future with Lyon

Lyon starlet Houssem Aouar is all set to reject Liverpool and Barcelona's advances to sign a new deal with Lyon. The local Lyon boy emerged through the ranks and made himself a regular started in midfield for the club last season.

Goal reports that Lyon have offered Aouar an extension until 2023 which will also see the youngster get a substantial pay raise - a deal which the midfielder is ready to sign.

Liverpool tracking Moses Simon

The Nigerian international is reportedly a target for Liverpool as they search for a backup winger for Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. According to Liverpool Echo, Simon has impressed the Liverpool scouts with the club now preparing a £10 million offer for the youngster.

The 22-year-old can play on both the wings and had a hand in 9 goals for the Belgian club last season.
