Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso has revealed that he will be working with the team throughout December to find a way to get the upper hand over Red Bull next season.
The team has been focusing on the car for next season from September and Alonso will be at the team’s Maranello base for the next four weeks to work in the simulator.
“Until Christmas time we are quite busy in Ferrari with some events with sponsors and then in Maranello many parties with the people working in Ferrari and their families. We will use those days that we are already in Italy to spend some time in the simulator and to so some work looking for next year relation,” Alonso said.
“Christmas time will probably be the first that we completely stop. Until 21st December I think we are on,” he added.
Alonso’s addition comes as a result of Kimi Raikkonen’s motion sickness in the simulator and his recent back surgery which forced him to sit out of the last two races.
