Written off time and time again, The performance Fernando Torres gave to Chelsea on Saturday at White Hart Lane should prove to everyone that has ever doubted whether or not he will recover the form he had at Liverpool, that he is well on the way to being that player again!

First and foremost, he worked his socks off! He looked like a player hungry to play for Chelsea, for his manager and for his team mates.

He looked determined and looked strong. He looked like he has his yard of pace back and looked a confident player who has taken up the challenge from Jose Mourinho to work hard to stay in his team!

All that he needed was a goal and if it wasn’t for Loris in the Tottenham goal, he would of had it.

I’m not even going to mention what happened to Torres towards the end of the game because quite frankly, I don’t care!

This is the Fernando Torres we all want to see every week and believe me Chelsea fans, the signs are good for the rest of the season!
