Fernando Torres recalled for national duty

Spanish National Football team coach and Selector Vicente Del Bosque handed in his list of players that will make up the National Team for the upcoming Euro Group matches against the Czech Rep and Scotland, to be played on the 7th ( Praga) & 11th ( Alicante, Spain) of October respectively.

Valencia defender Jordi Alba and also a surprise call up for Fernando Torres ahead of in-form Valencia forward Roberto Soldado, are the two new additions. Perhaps the latter case is a diplomatic move to keep group unity in line and show Torres some confidence as Spain has already qualified for the Euro finals.
