The FIFA 15 release date has been set for September 23rd in the United States, 25th in Europe and 26th in the United Kingdom. However if you’ve got an Xbox One with EA Access and can’t wait any longer then, you can start play FIFA 15 six hours earlier than the release.
It was known that EA planned an early release of the game for Xbox One owners, and now the company is sharing the rest of the information to allow gamers to prepare for FIFA 15 and get an advantage over other players .Once you own the full version of FIFA 15 with all the new features and modes on September 23rd, and you can carry over any progress you have made in the demo version. An added highlight is that there will not be any need to install the game when you buy it, since most can do all that five days prior to the FIFA 15 release.
The early FIFA 15 release date for the download is on September 18th, five days before the FIFA 15 release for everyone. EA have made no confirmation on the early FIFA 15 release time, but gamers can expect to download the FIFA 15 trial at 12PM Eastern time.
The download will obviously take time, as it is the full game; a large file, so it will probably take about one to three-hours of downloading before one can play.
An EA Access membership is required to take part in the early FIFA 15 release. This membership comes at $5 a month or $30 a year and includes more than just a FIFA 15 trial. For example, should you sign up now, you can pay your $5 for the month and get an early NHL 15 release along with the FIFA 15 release for the same membership. There are also discounts of up to 10% for the digital versions of these games and that’s not all the EA Access membership includes.
The access also allows you to play old games in The Vault which include games like FIFA 14, Madden 25, Battlefield 4, and soon to be added, Need for Speed Rivals. These are all full games and will remain in The Vault so you can keep playing them. Even if you trade in your games, you can still play them using this access.
However, after the pros come the cons. There is a catch to the early FIFA 15 release that gamers should keep in mind. This version of the game is a trial and even though it is the full game, one can play it for only six hours after which their time ends and the game can no longer be played.
Gamers will then have to patiently wait for FIFA 15 until the full release on September 23rd like the rest of the world. EA Access will spread to more countries later this month, but it is not yet sure whether it is in time for the FIFA 15 trial or not. Furthermore, The EA Access subscription auto-renews and cannot be paid through Xbox Live credit.
If you opt for the digital version of FIFA 15 and get the 10% discount, you will not likely be able to buy the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team edition, but Microsoft may include some type of bonus packs in the digital FIFA 15 release to compensate for that.
There is still talk that a FIFA 15 demo will be released later this month, but EA did not share any details on the subject. Unlike a trial, a FIFA 15 demo would not be the entire game and can be played with only certain 6 or 7 teams, but this demo would not be limited only to the Xbox One or to the EA Access subscribers.
