The only thing slightly marring the anticipation and excitement surrounding the release of FIFA 15 is the rumour that EA may not have included a Transfers Market. Well that rumour can now be put to rest. There is no need to worry as FIFA 15 will have a Transfer Market, even though some people believe it eats into EA’s profit lines.
But rumours aside, FIFA 15 will continue to support player trades via a Transfer Market as confirmed by FIFA community manager Robb Hodson in an EASports forum post, saying there will be a web app as well.
This post dates back to early June but recently came up when the same point was highlighted in a video discussing all the positives and negatives of the Transfer Market from EA Sports’ perspective.
The video puts up a strong case for why EA Sports would be crazy to ruin player fun as well as the revenue of its many, many hardcore fans by closing the Transfer Market. FIFA 15 is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in September, and after rumours have been cleared, people are even more geared up to get it in their hands.
