Phillip Lahm is the highest rated right back

At number five, we have another defender from FC Bayern Munich. This 32-year old right back is the best-rated right back in the game. He had a terrific season last year, lifting the 25^th Bundesliga title for FC Bayern Munich. Last year, he was rated at 87, and has moved up to 88 this year.

Lahm is a terrific wing back who has the passing abilities of a midfielder and the defending attributes of a central defender. He is an excellent passer and can set up few quick attacks out wide. His dribbling skills are also comparable to midfielders.

Excellent tackles and uncompromised marking make Phillip Lahm a wonderful defender. The only disappointment, an average rating for strength and aggression.
