2. First team to win three successive titles
They have already achieved this feat in the UEFA Champions League in the last edition, and now they are looking well on course to repeat the same in the Club World Cup. Participating in the Club World Cup for three successive years itself is a great achievement, considering how hard it is to qualify for the tournament.
With only the continental champions included, a hat-trick appearance would be unimaginable for most of the top football clubs. It will surely become some feat to repeat for others if Real Madrid manages to pull it off.
Real Madrid won their first Club World Cup title in 2014 defeating San Lorenzo of Argentina. Later they went on to win the 2016 and 2017 titles, and now look all set to be the first team in the history to win three successive Club World Cup titles.
