The Borussia Dortmund playmaker started his career in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. He was one of the best players in the tournament and soon became a regular for the Bundesliga giants.

His goal in the final against Argentina in the 2014 World Cup is still considered as one of the most talked about moments in recent history. He came on as a substitute and won his country another world championship which made him a national favourite.
