Indian goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem was unfortunately on the receiving end of a 3-0 loss to the USA during the opening game of the FIFA U-17 World Cup which took place in Mumbai. Though India lost there was nothing to be ashamed off, in their performance and even more so with Dheeraj's performance.
Young Dheeraj impressed in goal by making four crucial saves during the game that could have very well been easy goals for the USA. The goalkeeper clearly kept his side in the game but a cheaply conceded penalty and two unfortunate goals meant that India couldn't gain any points from the game.
According to sources, that there are in fact scouts from various clubs present in Delhi who are tracking the teams progress. Although we cannot confirm the name of the clubs at this moment, we have received news that the scouts were down in New Delhi with a priority of keeping an eye on the US and Ghana teams but it seems like Dheeraj's stunning performances in goal on the night has shifted all eyes on him.
Though the identity of the clubs is not known as of this moment, it is believed that two German clubs - one possibly being Borussia Monchengladbach - and a scout from an American outfit are keeping a close watch.
We can confirm that there are scouts from various clubs from all over the world currently present in every venue across India. We have also received information from our sources in Goa that close to 14 scouts from different countries across the world will be present for the next match day scheduled to take place on Tuesday. Similar is the case with the other venues.
Scouts from Germany, USA, Italy and China will be watching as Germany take on Iran and Costa Rica take on Guinea in Goa. Among the listed scouts we have also received confirmation that there will be four scouts from two Premier League teams also present at the stadium.
Two scouts from Manchester City and two scouts from Arsenal have confirmed that they will be attending the games on Tuesday in Goa.
