Spain football team suffered a blow as their second goalkeeper David de Dea has been ruled out for the group stages due to a hip injury and won’t play any role in the remaining group stage matches against Chile and Australia .
Spain’s regular keeper Iker Casillas had a horrendous outing in the 5-1 loss to The Netherlands and it was being said that de Gea would start in the next game.
The Red Devils goalkeeper has been in great form this season and performed brilliantly for his club Manchester United. His injury only adds to the list of woes that the Spanish manager Vicente del Bosque is enduring and he will only be hoping that de Gea gets fit as soon as possible.
