#1 Making all three substitutions in midfield
While the Uruguayan attack looks perilous with Suarez and Cavani up top, their defence is marshalled by the experience of Diego Godin. Their midfield, though, is swamped with youngsters who will be tested thoroughly in this competition.
While they brought dynamism to the side, they could not provide adequate service to either of the two strikers. Eventually, three players in the four-man midfield were taken off during substitutions.
Due to this, fresh pairs of legs started operating for Uruguay and ultimately, that helped them amplify their attacking intensity in the dying minutes of the game.
