World Cup 2022 Winner

Football is a game beyond predictability, the smallest team can come out on top depending on the day, but still there has been a lot of speculation as to who will win the 2022 FIFA World Cup. France are the defending champions going into the 2022 FIFA World Cup and it will not be surprising altogether if they manage to win it again.

France has a very strong squad with amazing depth and will likely make it far into the tournament even if they do not win it. Two of France’s strongest competitors are set to be from South America. The two finalists of the 2021 Copa America tournament, Argentina and Brazil, are two of the favorites to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil have been in amazing form and have young players like Antony and Vinicius Jr who have been performing fantastic at the club level and will hope to replicate this form at the international stage. Argentina have won the 2021 Copa America and will hope to carry on this form till the world cup. This will most probably also be Lionel Messi’s last opportunity to win the FIFA World Cup and he along with his teammates will be very motivated to do so.
