Ben Turner – Cardiff City
Tuner is an odd one to start with but I know everyone can’t have all the best players, so I thought I’d offer a good, cheap, reliable sub. Turner is extremely cheap and gets the occasional clean sheet in a steady Cardiff side. To add to that they are playing Crystal Palace who are struggling to score of late, and the Welsh side will be confident of keeping their sheets clean once again.
Luis Suarez – Liverpool
Suarez missed the start of the season and so many Fantasy Football managers, rightly so, left him out their sides. He scored four stunning goals and assisted one in mid-week to stun Norwich once again. He’s this seasons Robin van Persie for fantasy football purposes. If you don’t have him yet, you are probably being left behind. It seems an obvious tip, but it’s more of a warning. Get him in quick before it’s too late.
Jonjo Shelvey – Swansea City
The unpredictable Shelvey is starting to find form this season and re-pay the managers faith in him. It is common knowledge that Shelvey is capable of scoring from almost anywhere, but he has now started to become an integral part of the Swansea set-up. He’s only 21, which is easy to forget. With Rodriguez and Lallana getting call-up’s recently, is Shelvey due one? Probably too early for that, but Jonjo will certainly hope he can continue his recent form in order to further his career.
Eden Hazard – Chelsea
Eden showed some of his best form in the week. The Belgian is looking more like fulfilling the potential that made Chelsea buy him for so much money. He is an expensive option, but a classy midfielder and when he finds form he looks like he is going to score in every game. With Chelsea back on winning ways, he looks likely to score points each week. It’s a risky one as he costs upwards of £9 million, but it might be worth swapping him with Oscar, as the Brazilian looks like he could miss the weekend’s game with injury.
Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal
Some thought he had a fortunate start to the season, but as we head towards the halfway point in the Premier League season, it’s clear Aaron’s form is here to stay. Most teams already have him, but just to remind you, he’s the highest midfield point’s scorer in the league. At just £7.5 million he is incredible value. With an assist in midweek, he has now notched up five assists and eight goals in the opening 14 Premier League games. For a player who often plays deep in midfield, that is some tally.
